Before we departed Nikko, we made a stop at the Shinkyo (Sacred Bridge) which is part of the Futarasan Shrine. To get to the bridge, take the World Heritage bus and alight after passing the main concrete bridge across the Daiya river.

On the way back, we stopped at Utsunomiya to try the gyoza which the city is well known for. It was reported that they have the most variety of gyoza. The original recipe was reported brought by Japanese troops from China.
